BASECAMP's Vision
BASECAMP’s love for human movement, the body’s incredible ability to adapt, and the great places it has taken us, has led to a 10+ year academic pursuit to better understand the important role nutrition and exercise play in living a healthy and active lifestyle.
BASECAMP believes that the ability to move without restriction grants you so much freedom in life! Whether it’s the ability to perform daily tasks (i.e. healthy aging), address current movement restrictions (i.e. injury), get outside and explore new places (i.e. adventure), or become proficient in skilled movements patterns (i.e. muscle-up, snatch), everyone has something that they are working towards.
BASECAMP believes that quality speaks for itself, and that is what we strive to provide our customers. Through our online and in-person coaching services, we look to empower our clients, providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to take control of their body and health.
The Motto
“To learn and not to do, is really not to learn. To know and not to do, is really not to know”
- Stephen R. Covey
BASECAMP's Philosophy
At BASECAMP, we believe that it is important to not only know, but to do. We embody what we preach, as we truly believe in the value of our online and in-person coaching services.
At BASECAMP, we believe that a growth mindset is necessary to achieve your goals. You have to be willing to make changes, experience setbacks, get uncomfortable, and do something you wouldn’t normally do if you want to grow as a person and experience success in your fitness and lifestyle journey. As coaches, our job is to help you along the journey, through education, sound guidance, and accountability.
Your body is the one thing that you are with for the entirety of your life, so let’s build the base needed to allow you to reach life’s highest peaks!
The Growth Mindset
“Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.”
– Joshua J. Marine
